Say hello to The Crash King !

Après un petit moment d’absence, je reprends du service ! Je me suis longuement battue contre un virus informatique et je dois dire que rester sans pouvoir écrire était un calvaire. Bref, ceci étant dit, repartons à la découverte de nouveaux groupes qui feront le bonheur de nos oreilles !

Direction les États-Unis, pour vous présenter les « Crash King » ! Qui sont-ils ? Antonio Beliveau (piano/voix) ; Michael Beliveau (basse) et Tommy Rose (batterie). Ils sont originaire de Boston (MA) et Los Angeles (CA) et forment un groupe rock assez étonnant. Pourquoi ? Peut-être parce qu’il y a un piano, ce qui est rare dans une formation rock. Le rendu est vraiment excellent et original. J’aime beaucoup « You got me », déjà parce que le clip est juste génial, tatoos, rock et ambiance survoltée ! J’adore mais surtout parce que l’on a l’impression d’une rencontre mélodique entre Muse et Offspring.

Je suis particulièrement impressionnée par la place qu’occupe le piano ici, il remplace tout simplement une guitare électrique, si on ajoute à cela la voix d’Antonio qui est vraiment superbe… Un cocktail surprenant et envoûtant qui donne envie d’écouter une à une toutes leur compos. Je vous conseille les morceaux suivants : Come away ; Mountain man ; 14 Arms et Hot fire. Ils ont fait également un cover de « Hey Bulldog » des Beatles dont je suis absolument fan ! Sur le titre, 14 Arms, on retrouve justement un petit quelque chose proche des Fab Four, comment ne pas apprécier leur performance ? Ils assurent autant en live qu’en studio, c’est pour cela que je vous invite à vous procurer leurs albums « Dark of the Daylight » ainsi que « Crash King » pour entrer dans leur surprenant univers musical.

Go to the U.S.A to introduce you the « Crash King » ! Who are they ? Antonio Beliveau (piano/vox), Michael Beliveau (bass) and Tommy Rose (drums). They’re from Boston (MA) and Los Angeles (CA) and form a quiet ashtonishing rock band. Why ? Maybe because there is a piano which is unusual in a rock formation. The rendering is really excellent and original. I like very much « You got me », already because of the video clip, its just awesome, tatoos, rock and supercharged atmosphere ! I adore it but especially because it makes me think about melodical metting between Muse and Offspring.

I’m particulary impressed by the the place occupies the piano here, its blithely replaces an electric guitar. If we addes to this Antonio voice’s which is just wonderful… A bewitched and surprising cocktail which makes want to listen one by one all their songs. I advice you the following track, « Come away » ; « Mountain man » ; « 14 Arms » and « Hot fire ». They did a cover of «Hey Bulldog » by the Beatles whom I’m really fan ! On the track « 14 Arms », we find something of the Beatles. How could not appreciate their performance. They rule as in live as in studio, that’s why I invite you to purchase theirs albums « Dark of the Daylight » and « Crash King » to enter into their surprising musical universe.
